How this calculator works
The budget calculator uses 2026 benchmark data across 9 countries, 6 platforms, and 10 industries to estimate the performance you can expect from a given ad budget. It is a planning tool — actual results vary based on creative quality, landing page experience, audience match, and account optimisation.
CPM benchmark applied
Your budget is divided by the country + platform CPM benchmark to estimate total impressions.
CTR × impressions
Industry and platform CTR benchmarks are applied to impressions to estimate click volume.
CVR × clicks
Conversion rate benchmarks by industry and objective produce the estimated conversion count and CPA.
Frequently asked questions
How accurate is this budget calculator?
This tool gives a directionally accurate planning estimate based on 2026 industry benchmarks. Real campaign performance varies by ±30–50% depending on creative quality, audience targeting, landing page conversion rate, and account history. Use these projections for budget planning and stakeholder communications — not as guaranteed outcomes. Actual CPMs, CTRs, and CVRs should be validated against your own historical data once campaigns are live.
What CPM benchmarks does this calculator use?
CPM benchmarks are sourced from aggregated 2026 platform data across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Country-level adjustments are applied — US CPMs are 3–8× higher than India, for example. Platform differences are significant: LinkedIn CPMs ($55–$90) are 4–6× higher than Meta ($8–$14) for similar audiences, which is reflected in the projections. See our CPM by Platform benchmarks for the full data.
Why does my industry matter for budget estimation?
Industry affects CTR, CVR, and CPA benchmarks significantly. Legal services have high CPCs but very high conversion values. E-commerce sees higher CTRs on Meta (product visual formats) but lower CVRs on LinkedIn. B2B SaaS on LinkedIn sees low CTRs but qualified leads with long LTVs. The calculator applies industry-specific CTR and CVR multipliers on top of platform baselines so the projections reflect realistic performance for your vertical.
